Zaten albüm yapı olarak düz. Bu kötü bir şey mi? Değil. Saniye 1500 tane nota basmakla kaliteli müzik yapılmış olmuyor. Wasting Light'ta ruh var, heyecan var. Analog, tertemiz kayıtlar var. Örneğin Dream Theater'ın kompleks ama içi boş "çoğu" albümünden (her çalışmasından bahsetmiyorum) daha kaliteli.
Bol distortion'lı, gain'li, belki az gamlı ama yağ gibi akan bir albüm arıyorsanız mutlaka dinleyin. Foo Fighters, Wasting Light ile birlikte son yılların en iyi ana akım rock albümüne imza atmış bulunmakta. Kapağı bile "tatava" yapmıyor.
